I had the honor of being invited to the retirement ceremony of Master Sergeant Kimberly Simms. Kim is a Premium Member of Girlfriends EnTourAge Travel Club – Raleigh/Cary. Â I first met Kim when she attended Girlfriends EnTourAge’s maiden trip – a brief visit to the Biltmore Estate in beautiful Asheville, NC.

Master Sergeant Kimberly Simms retires
It was a joy getting to know Kim and the three other members of our group. She was completely relaxed, lots of fun, and always smiling. I was surprised to learn that she’d spent more than 20 years in the military and that she would soon be retiring. Â It was fascinating to hear about the travel she has done in her career and for pleasure. The more I learned about Kim the more I realized that she is truly an inspiration.
Master Sergeant Kimberly Simms is this month’s Inspiring Woman. Kim, we wish you the absolute best, look forward to hearing more about your travels, and hope that you will join us on future Girlfriends EnTourAge travel adventures.
